Intent to Sole Source Intent to Sole Source Page 3 of 3 Notice of Intent to Sole Source Intent to Sole Source Page 1 of 3 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office Central (RPOC), Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO 15) intends to award a sole source contract award to Monterey Park Nursing center, 4600 Little Blue Pkwy, Independence, MO 64057-8302. The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, with four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide long term skilled nursing facility care to be qualified Veterans in the Pinckneyville, IL catchment area in support of the Marion VA Medical Center Community Nursing Home (CNH) program. This facility currently houses qualified Veterans. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 30, 2022, 17:00 (CST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to patricia.trusler@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
