Description

This is a supply contract for the purchase & delivery of DOT Class C Stone "Rip Rap"  to the Brule Flats location.  The contract is to purchase 29,500 tons of "Rip Rap". The "Rip Rap" must meet the specifications per Section 35 31 19 included within the Solicitation. The "Rip Rap"  will be stockpiled at the location shown on the attached maps located in the attachment/links. The stockpile location, latitude and longitude, is 43°54'18.22"N, 99°20'34.73"W which is north of Chamberlain, South Dakota. The supplier is also required to do minor site preparation to the stockpile area; including site leveling, clearing of vegetation and top soil, site reclamation is not required.  The period of performance for the minor site preparation and the delivery of the "Rip Rap" to the stockpike area is December 1, 2023 - June 15, 2024. This solicitation is being advertised as a low price procurement. The "Rip Rap" must meet the specifications that are included within this solicitation to be technically acceptable. The quoter with the lowest cost per ton that meet the specifications added to the lower cost per site preparation will be awarded the contract.
