Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, is performing market research on the project titled: "FY23 DVA 640-424 VAPAHCS Ambulatory Care Center, Palo Alto, CA (0128)".
The purpose of this notice is to receive feedback from industry on this requirement (see attachments to this notice). The information received from interested companies will help inform the Government's direction on engineering, construction, and procurement related decisions. Our agency is in the planning stages of this project and we are actively seeking input from the marketplace. We are looking to hear back from companies who have experience in the design and construction of microgrids. If your company is interested in this work, please review the attachments, and provide your input to the POCs listed in this notice.
BACKGROUND:
This project consolidates nearly all Palo Alto Division outpatient ambulatory care clinics into a world-class treatment facility. The new Ambulatory Care Center will feature VA's new Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) design and integrated Mental Health to support a Veteran-centric model of care for outpatient PACT's team-based care design promotes staff collaboration in a flexible and adaptable concept. The proposed Ambulatory Care Center will be sized appropriately to adequately accommodate projected outpatient demand for primary, specialty, ancillary and diagnostic services. Collectively, this project will decommission and raze known seismically deficient, Exceptionally High Risk (EHR), and temporary modular buildings on the Palo Alto Division. Demolition includes Buildings 4, 5, 48, 54, 102, portions of Building 7 and existing modular buildings MB1, MB2, MB3, and MB4.
DESCRIPTION:
This project does not have a acquisition method or schedule available (under development). The contract is anticipated to be advertised and awarded in calendar years 2022-2023. The Government estimates overall cost to be between $250,000,000 and $500,000,000.
