MQ-8C 12.3 Fault Tree Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis Guidebook

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) delivery order modification under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N0001920G0005 N0001921F0182, to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), 17066 Goldentop Road, San Diego, CA 92127-2412 for the procurement of MQ-8C 12.3 Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Fault Tree Analysis Guidebook. This contract modification was awarded to NGSC in the amount of $580,981.00.

This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort was covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 19-0048 – redacted version attached to this announcement.
