It is hereby determined that the proposed solicitation action for the Department of Veterans Affairs Salisbury, NC
Medical Center, Solicitation No. 36C24623B0034 has been cancelled and will be resolicited in the near future.
Due to the inability to determine a fair and reasonable price.
Prospective bidders will be given an opportunity to bid on the resolicitation

(1) Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.

LOCATION: 1601 Brenner Ave. Salisbury NC 28144
Project description: Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and qualified supervision as necessary to
perform work as described in the Drawings and Specifications for Project 659-19-1132 Correct Physical Securities at the
Deficiencies Project at the W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center located in Salisbury, NC.

In accordance with established public law, all bidders are required to be registered and current in System for Award
Management (SAM) at the time of award. The Official website of the U.S. Government at www.sam.gov.

THIS IS A 100% VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (VOSB) SET-ASIDE IAW 38. I.S.C. 8127 (d).
SDVOSB is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work on the project with its own labor force. This
does not includes paperwork, submittals, and project management.
The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to installation of security glass, PACS, window screens, up and
over, Intrusion Detection, Lenel Panels as well as new walls and doors in selected areas. The scope of the work is
fully detailed on the contract documents (Drawings and Specifications). See below for the Drawing List and the
Specification Table of Contents.
Prime VOSB shall comply with subcontracting limitation as defined in 13 CFR 125.6

Question (RFI) cut-off date: Friday, April 14, 20203 @10AM E.S.T.
