Line Item 0001 – One (1) Potentiometric Titrator with accessories, Installation and Familiarization Training.

Objective

San Francisco Laboratory (SANFL) has been identified to adopt the nutrition program in order to expand the program to more than one lab and to continue operations while SFFL field laboratory moves location. As such, SANFL needs instrumentation to run regulatory samples. For chloride content and Vitamin C content analysis (SRL-ACNA.008, AOAC 985.33, AOAC 967.22, AOAC 971.27, AOAC 986.26), a potentiometric titrator is required.

Requirements

The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide one potentiometric titrator that meets or exceeds the requirements listed below:

Salient Characteristics/Technical Specifications:

Potentiometric Titrator shall "meet or exceed" the following salient characteristics/technical specifications: 

•            Potentiometric Titrator capable of titrating up to 8 burets

•            Silver ring electrode

•            Re-dox electrode

•            1L amber bottle fitted for connection to titrator

•            10mL burets up to 8

•            Ability to store up to 2 methods

•            Min 1 year warranty

•            Delivery and set up

•            Familiarization training

•            Options for extended maintenance or repair

•            Software capable of creating a report and transmitting electronically

The contractor shall ensure the following:

• Provide on-site training. Training shall be provided at time of installation or shortly thereafter (within 30 days), such that operators may independently operate the instrument and with increased familiarity and proficiency. The training shall include manuals and consumables to be used during training.

Equipment shall be delivered with all necessary supplies and accessories required for installation and start-up including standards for verifying equipment performance

• FOB Point destination to include inside delivery and clean-up of area after installation. 

• Equipment shall be a newly manufactured unit, not used and refurbished or previously used for demonstration

• Equipment shall be warrantied for parts and labor for at least 12 months from the date of installation. The vendor shall also be capable of servicing the instrument through the covered warranty period and shall include at a minimum: coverage on all non-consumable items and parts including base instrument, factory-certified replacement parts, engineer labor and travel costs

Records and Reports 

The Contractor shall, commensurate with the completion of each service call (inclusive of warranty service), provide the end-user of the equipment with a copy of a field service report/ticket identifying the equipment name, manufacturer, model number, and serial number of the equipment being serviced/repaired. It shall include the detailed reason for the service call, a detailed description of the work performed, the test instruments or other equipment used to affect the repair or otherwise perform the service, the name(s) and contact information of the technician who performed the repair/service, and for information purposes, the on-site hours expended and parts/components replaced.
