THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following supply: Police Radio Console for the Boise, ID VAMC. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation to perform installation of this supply in accordance with the specifications outlined in this contract. Brand Name or Equal to: Equivalent to an Avtech Scout E8 Tier 1 The VA Police would like to request a computer dispatch radio console to be used for daily and emergency situations. This console will need to operate in a system with no less than eight P25 compliant radios. The console must be able to be connected and operate several dual band and quad band consolette radios. This console must be fully functional with the Ada County Sheriffs Office radio system and Idaho State radio system which operate on a Motorola system. The console will need to have the following abilities. Continuously monitor and transmit on six or more VHF/UHF/700/800/900 channels/talkgroups Display unit IDs/alias for radios transmitting on VHF/UHF/700/800/900.
