GTS Intent to Issue Sole Source Modification

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source modification to an existing contract under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 to continue GEOINT Tradecraft Suite (GTS) services. The Government has determined that CACI Inc. is the only source capable of providing the highly specialized services provided under the contract without incurring substantial duplication of cost and schedule delays to the Government. This action will not include a modification to the Period of Performance of the contract. Therefore, no competition is being sought at this time.

The sole source modification to the GTS contract will provide NGA with continued support in implementing and sustaining the GTS knowledge-sharing platform and its services/capabilities while providing governance and framework to support evolving National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)/Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) analytics tradecraft in multiple security domains.

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2 and is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will not be posted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 1:00 pm EST on Tuesday February 13, 2024. Responses must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government.
