Notice of SEC Intent to Award a Single Source Purchase Order for a Single Provider Consolidated Media Intelligence Platform Subscription

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed price purchase order on a single source basis to Meltwater News US Inc. for a single provider consolidated Media Intelligence Platform Subscription.

The Contracting Officer has determined that Meltwater News US Inc. is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b).

Meltwater News US Inc is the only known source that meets all of SEC requirements, including:

1. Software provider to offer a comprehensive single source platform which supports News, Social and Broadcast Media Monitoring, Media Analysis, Retroactive Analysis and Media Research, Internal Communications, Media Outreach, Dashboard Visualization, Social Media Analysis, Owned Social Media Management and Unlimited Training and Customer Support.
2. Concurrent access users with unlimited saved and unlimited ad-hoc searches with unlimited results for unlimited keywords.  Unlimted search criteria and keywords, with all users ability to add, edit or delete keywords at any point during the subscription.
3. Assigned dedicated account management team throughout the subscription.
4. 24/7/365 live chat directly embedded in the user interface with integrated help desk, step-by-step tutorials, and training courses.
5. Unlimited archiving facility included in the flat fee subscription.  Limitless archive facility is limitless (each user has access to unlimited folders, can create folders to store unlimited amounts of articles, archive is accessible to all users at all times from any computer with internet access, everything is stored and backed-up on provider's network).
6. One platform package at a one-time cost. 
7. Email alerts, mobile notifications, or Slack/Teams messages, powered by targeted and comprehensive searches, on a real-time, hourly, daily, twice-daily basis.
8. Forwarding and distribution functions with all copyright issues in mind to allow users to distribute hand selected articles to colleagues legally and free of charge.
9. Media monitoring which provides an integrated mobile app designed for iOS / Android which enables users to access their media monitoring account on the go, and enable any actions taken on the mobile app to be
   reflected on the web platform, such as tagging or communicating coverage.
10. Ability to search for top influencing, relevant influencers and journalists by searching articles that they have written.

The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be a 1-year base period with 1 option year.  The total value of the order shall be below the Simplified Acqusition Threshold.

The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Meltwater News US Inc. on or about September 3, 2024.

This notice is not a competitive request for proposals.  A competitive solicitation will not be issued.  However, the Government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by the response date of this notice.
