Description
This purchase of new blast booth shall require installation at the Letterkenny Munitions Facility, Chambersburg, PA. Building 3382. Equipment installation shall include all necessary labor and materials to install the blast booth for operation. Note: Blast Booth installation does not include bonds or permits. Equipment installation shall consist of the following: (1) Receiving, off-loading, and securing of all equipment components in a customer supplied weatherproof environment, and uncrating of equipment, (2) Supply all necessary assembly hardware for blast booth and quoted equipment, (3) ALL building floor or ground prep to include cutting of concrete, concrete foundation for both the blast booth and floor media recovery system, digging, and any type of securing of the equipment to the building and or foundation, (4) Mechanical erection of blast booth, air make-up unit and control panel, (5) Provide all necessary structural steel support for blast booth, exhaust ductwork and air make-up unit ductwork, (6) Supply necessary labor to install exhaust duct, fan connection rings and stack head assemblies, (7) Provide all electrical wiring of blast booth and air make-up components including lights, motors and controls to supplied central electrical control panel. This includes all necessary flexible or EMT conduit for connecting light fixtures on blast booth. All wiring to meet current NEC guidelines including individual motor disconnects at remote motor locations, (8) Provide fire protection system for the blast booth, (9) Supply and installation of compressed and breathable air piping. Piping to include regulators for pressure control, (10) Provide adequate lifting devices (forklift, scissors lift or crane) capable of lifting men, equipment or hardware to any point necessary during installation, (11) Cleanup of equipment and working area in which the installation was performed, and dispose of all materials, non-hazardous, (12) Start-up and blast booth operation and maintenance, and (13) Training of customer personnel on operation and maintenance, and troubleshooting of quoted equipment.
