Description
The National Institutes of Health, National Eye Institute intends to purchase a Zeiss IOL Master 700 testing device used to measure ocular axial length. Only Zeiss can provide the follow-on service or maintenance because of proprietary data, parts, and service.
This equipment request is essential that will be used on our current NEI study patient population and is the only approved testing device for our current studies and standard of care of various dimensions of eye’s measurement. Zeiss IOL Master 700 testing device is essential for the continuity of the patient care based on current NEI protocols. This equipment is essential in the continuing the continuity of care/clinical research in an ophthalmic research environment.
