Description

The 628 Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the 628 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) to complete Repairs to the HVAC System for the Alert Facilities Building B248 at Joint Base Charleston, Charleston SC. This requirement is for a single award Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials and supervision necessary to complete the HVAC repairs (project DKGV 1096883). The work includes demolition of existing large gable roof dormer, associated HVAC equipment, and related ductwork on rear of building 248. Construction of a new mono-slope dormer and associated walls and roof framing to create a new attic mechanical room. Demolition of existing chilled water line from existing attic HVAC equipment to existing 70-ton chiller located on the rear exterior of the building. Installation of new chilled water lines from the existing 70-ton chiller to the new HVAC equipment located in the new attic mechanical room as well as tying exterior lines to a relocated central chilled water loop located just north of the building. Contractor shall clean all existing ductwork to remain. Provide all new or repaired damaged finishes shall match existing finishes as identified in Appendix B of the specifications.
