Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, Massachusetts requires to procure one Forward-Looking Sonar compatible with government owned HabCam to support non-lethal sonar to see the seafloor and any obstacles that are in the path of the HabCam to support various scientific missions as specified in the solicitation and statement of work.

The proposed award is on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 334519 with a size standard of 600 EMP. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05, effective September 7, 2023.
The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering technical capability (essential salient features), past performance, delivery and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation number is 1333MF23QNFFM0062; Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.
It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about 20 September 2023. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
