Description
PLANET Vacuum Vessel & Pump Synopsis
NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercial items: Planetary, Lunar, & Asteroid Natural Environment Testbed (PLANET) Vacuum Vessel and Pumping System.
This acquisition is a total small business set-aside.
The primary NAICS Code and Size Standard are 332420 – Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing, and 750 employees, respectively.
The anticipated release date of RFP 80MSFC23R0001 is on or about January 18, 2023, with an anticipated proposal due date on or about February 1, 2023.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.

It is anticipated that Commercial Product Purchase Financing (Interim Payments) may be made available in accordance with FAR Subpart 32.2.
