Description

This notice serves to provide notification to all small businesses for the upcoming solicitation for construction services. Provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, and transportation to and from the job site for a 5-year ordering period (1-year base period and four year option period) Multiple Award Protective Coverings IDIQ in accordance with project Statement of Work.

Magnitude of this solicitation is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00 with an IDIQ contract ceiling of $9,999,999.99.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering Contractors). The Business Size Standard is $16,500,000.00 in average annual receipts for the last three years.

The complete solicitation package, which includes the project plans and specifications, will be made available only through the SAM website at sam.gov. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on sam.gov. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files. This project will be solicited as an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business set-aside (5 anticipated awards) with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Award will be made, in accordance with the acquisition procedures established in FAR 15.101-1(b)(2), in which technical capability and past performance history, when combined, will be evaluated on a basis significantly more important than price considerations.

Anticipated issue date for the solicitation is at least 15 days after issuance of this notice and can be accessed at the website at sam.gov. 

Notice to Offerors:

NOTE 1: All prospective contractors must be registered in the SAM website at sam.gov before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database will cause your firm to be ineligible for any future award.

NOTE 2:  "Notice to Offerors:  Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.  In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs."
