Description
This Solicitation is a Request for Quote, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, for a firm fixed priced construction purchase order.
The USDA ARS requires that all professional services necessary for the supply and installation of the lighting system in the three growth chambers requires installation of wiring and outlets to all growth chambers and the removal of the existing lights and analog timer at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Sugarcane Research Center in Schriever, LA. All work shall be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications contained in the solicitation documents.
A single organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, 08/30/2022 at 10am CST.

QUOTE MUST BE ANNOTATED AS SUCH AND REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. Please include a detailed breakdown of price with various cost elements (e.g. materials, sub-costs, controllers, etc.). Additional quote instructions can be found in Section L.
SIZE OF PROJECT: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated price range is Between $25,000 and $100,000.
All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to shalunda.mix@usda.gov by 2:00p.m. CST, Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by August 31, 2022, may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment.
