Description

This solicitation will result in a single-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the procurement and delivery of P-40 Dry Silica Sand through pneumatic bulk tankers. The IDIQ will consist of five ordering periods, each one (1) year in length, with no options. The contractor shall provide delivery of the sand through issuance of delivery orders. Each delivery order shall specify the exact quantities required, in increments of 25 short tons (“tons”). The contractor is expected to deliver 25 tons per truck load; however, a variance (up or down), of 8% is authorized.

The contract minimum amount is 25 tons. The contract maximum amount is 17,500 tons over the 5-years. The NSWCPD Contracting Office will be the only activity authorized to issue delivery orders against the IDIQ.
