Description
The purpose of this RFI is for the United States Government (USG) to determine the potential industry capabilities to produce Bradley Fighting Vehicles in the A4 configuration.
Over three years of production, The U.S. Army has a requirement for Bradley M2A4 and M7A4 vehicles and repair of legacy components using M2A3, M7A3, Operation Desert Storm (ODS), and Operation Desert Storm-Situational Awareness (ODS-SA) vehicles as a baseline.
It is anticipated that the United States Government (USG) will award a follow-on production contract or modification to existing contract for Fiscal Years 24 to 27. Any information received in response to this survey will be used by the USG to aid its current Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Acquisition Planning Effort. Currently, the USG plans to obtain the prospective requirements identified within this survey from a source that has the ability or capacity to meet the USG’s requirements without creating a substantial duplication of cost or unacceptable delay. The USG’s anticipated contracting approach is to utilize an existing multiple year requirements contract that will establish pricing for ordering periods 3-5, while delivery orders will be executed to commence performance of the various efforts.
