Description

The United States Air Force?s (USAF) Civil Engineering Center, Environmental Directorate, requires contractor?s technical support for Hazardous Waste Management Support Services (HWMSS) at Osan AB and Kunsan AB to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and minimize environmental impacts of USAF activities. The HWMSS shall be conducted in accordance with the U.S. Forces Korea, Regulation 201-1, Environmental Quality, Environmental Governing Standards (KEGS) (U.S. Forces Korea, Headquarters, current version), which incorporate applicable federal and Republic of Korea (ROK) requirements. The Contractor shall provide support for all program components that includes: Hazardous Waste Management Plan (HWMP) implementation, management and operation of the Hazardous Waste Storage Area (HWSA), training, compliance assessment, recycling, and spill response. Optimize performance, reduce operating costs, and improve/sustain environmental regulatory compliance. Collaborate with other program managers to implement the installation?s Environmental Inspection Program (EIP) initiatives including conducting periodic compliance assessments, development and presentation of briefing packages and compliance reports.
