THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.
This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The United States Army Health Contracting Activity, Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West, at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas is requesting information and conducting market research to identify and determine if there are potential sources which have the capabilities to provide the requirements specified herein.
As part of its market research, RHCO-C is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing Automated Medical Supply Systems to be delivered to Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. Entities responding to this sources sought notice must be able to provide products that comply with the below salient characteristics. In addition to delivery, assembly, and full installation by the Contractor, cabinets must:
- Be new, unused, three cell auxiliary cabinets with approximate dimensions of 77-1/2” H, 76-1/2” W, 27” D;
- Be fully compatible and integrated with existing Omnicell electronic infrastructure/server currently utilized by Evans Army Community Hospital. Any reduced function/diminished capability of cabinets is not acceptable. Cabinets must be able to communicate with the main cabinet (“brain”);
- Include Automated reorder button bars;
- Be configurable for the storage of supplies;
- Be on casters for movement by staff;
- Be lockable with keys to open manually during emergencies;
- Incorporate full doors on each cell, where possible;
- Provide inventory aging reports, par vs usage reports, cabinet operation and status reports, flexible lock remote monitoring report, null transaction reporting, detailed transaction reporting, and end-user dispending practices reporting for abusers.
- Be covered by a standard maintenance plan and warranty, provided directly from the manufacturer of the cabinets, that covers all parts and accessories. Any entity responding to this sources sought notice shall specify its the duration of its standard commercial warranty for the items specified herein.
The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of RHCO-C market research.
No solicitation for this requirement exists at the time of posting for this Sources Sought Notice. Please do not request a copy of a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the RHCO-C can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract vehicle based only on responses to this Sources Sought.
All information marked “proprietary” that is received in response to this Sources Sought will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned.
Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Respondents shall not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. Interested sources shall provide a response detailing their capability to provide the requirement specified herein.
With your response to this sources sought, please provide the following information:
1. Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, business size and type of ownership for the organization; and
2. Tailored capability statements addressing the salient characteristics specified above, along with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability.
The Government does not possess or own data rights necessary to distribute for this effort.
