BRAND REQUIREMENT: Purchase and nonpersonal services installation of Video Surveillance System at National Weather Forecast Office Mobile, Alabama

AMENDMENT 0004 May 18, 2023.  The quote due date is extended to May 26, 2023 and questions are extended through May 22, 2023 and see below changes.

1. 1.6.2.1(A) The Contractor shall install a Cisco Catalyst C9200L-48P-4X (48 ports full PoE+, 4x1/10G fixed uplinks). This unit and all associated camera system hardware must be served by the same building emergency power circuit breaker to / from the rack. The power supply is a PWR-C6-1KWAC.  A second power supply would need to be determined by the cameras chosen to be installed.  All cameras must be able to work day / night.  There should be no need for an external POE switch unless required for a distance exceeding 300ft.
2. 1.7.1.2 The Contractor shall install five IP exterior 4K or 1080p HD resolution (Each individual lens 5MP or greater) security cameras covering the areas shown on Attachments (1).  These cameras shall have human / vehicle

Tripp Lite 48-Port 2U Rack-Mount Cat6 110 Patch Panel. Dell Precision 7920 Rack-Mount Windows 11 Pro Operating System with Dual Intel Xeon Silver4210R processor.

The Cisco switch and Dell Precision workstation were determined an essential requirement to meet IT Security and support requirements. NWS Southern Region has these same units along with the Tripp Lite patch panel at numerous WFOs and plans to install them at the remaining sites to maintain continuity among locations, decreasing the overall cost of maintenance and training. Continuity among all sites and only pre- approved by the Government brands.”

(I)            This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
