Description

This is a synopsis for services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Part 15.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for large scale nationwide testing, assessment services, therapeutics, vaccines, sample collection and forwarding, and surge services/emergency response across the nation. The contract will include participation in Outreach and Education projects, as well as provide 3rd party Data Acquisition, and Distribution of Medical Countermeasures.

The RFP is expected to be released between the end of December 2024 and the beginning of January 2025.  The resultant contract will be a multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Fixed Price contract with multiple CLINS.  The contract is anticipated to include a five year base period. Task orders issued against the IDIQ may have option periods assigned. The anticipated period of performance will be 6/1/2025 through 5/31/2030

The Government anticipates that this will be a full and open competition under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621999 - All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services, and small business size standard of $20.5 million.  This is not a small business set-aside.
