Crest Road Lighting Replacement

THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes a PRE-SOLICITATION notice IAW FAR Subpart 5.2.

On or about 19 July 2024, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to issue an Invitation For Bid(IFB) for the “Crest Road Lighting Replacement” project.  The solicitation will close on or about 19 August 2024 by 2:00PM CT and Bid Opening will be at 3:00 PM CT.

Project Description: 

The goal of this project is to award a contract for the replacement of lighting fixtures, lighting poles, concrete foundations, and conductors along Crest Road at Garrison Dam, Riverdale, North Dakota  

The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 430 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. 

Site Visit (only include if applicable):

A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27.   The site visit is tentatively scheduled for 24 July 2024.

Estimated Construction Costs:

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation, with a size standard for Small Business of $19M.
