Description

This is a request for information (RFI); there is no solicitation available at this time. This RFI is published for market research purposes only. The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is particularly interested in responses from small businesses; however any business size can respond to this RFI. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements to establish and operate in the Contractor’s name, a foodservice facility for the purpose of dispensing food, nonalcoholic beverages and such other items as may be authorized by the Government. The foodservice facility includes one main cafeteria, private dining room and catering services. The foodservices are to be operated for the benefit of approximately 1,000 occupants of the DOJ, RFK Main Justice Building located at:

The draft statement of work is provided to provide a better understanding of the needs of the DOJ and the respondent’s potential ability to meet the Government’s requirements. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722310, Food Service Contractors and the size standard is $47.0 million.  

Interested parties shall submit up to a maximum 5-page capabilities statement. The capabilities statement shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The statement shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met. Include the following in your statement of capabilities:
