Description

The following describes the scope of work for four camp grounds on the Mount Hood National Forest.  A pre-bid tour will be given on 2 April 2024.  Please refer to Section L of the solicitation for RSVP and directions and time.  Bid Guarantee (GSA Standard Form  24) is mandatory for receipt and acceptance of Bid Schedule, Technical Proposal, and all Amendments.

Scope of Work: 

Complete recreation site repair and restoration work at the Armstrong, Ripplebrook, Riverside, and Riverford Campgrounds along Highway 224 and the Clackamas River Corridor. These campgrounds have been closed to public use since the Riverside Fire (2020). They are small and rustic in nature. General road and grounds maintenance and replacement of visitor amenities is needed to safely reopen these campgrounds to the public.

Armstrong Campground is located on National Forest System lands within the western portion of the Mt. Hood National Forest and Clackamas County, OR (Closest Town is Estacada, OR). From Estacada, OR - travel east on Highway 224 for 14 miles to Armstrong Campground, on the right.

Ripplebrook Campground 

Ripplebrook Campground is located on National Forest System lands within the western portion of the Mt. Hood National Forest and Clackamas County, OR (Closest Town is Estacada, OR). From Estacada, OR - travel east on Highway 224 for 26 miles to the campground, which is just past the Ripplebrook Camp Store.

Riverside Campground 

Riverside Campground is located on National Forest System lands within the western portion of the Mt. Hood National Forest and Clackamas County, OR (Closest Town is Estacada, OR). From Estacada, OR - travel east on Highway 224 for 26 miles, then keep right onto Highway 46 for approximately two miles to the campground.

Riverford Campground 

Riverford Campground is located on National Forest System lands within the western portion of the Mt. Hood National Forest and Clackamas County, OR (Closest Town is Estacada, OR). From Estacada, OR - travel east on Highway 224/Road 46 for approximately 29 miles just past the intersection with Road 63. Turn left into the campground.
