Description

In accordance with FAR Part 5, the purpose of this notice is to notify industry the United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to award a Sole Source award to Guardian Mobility, Inc. for Tracking and Satellite Phone Services and Equipment.

The USMS has a requirement to renew tactical satellite radio services that can be accessed by utilizing GMI Satellite Radio equipment that is in use by the USMS. GMI has provided the equipment installed on aircraft today and presently supports the flight data services.  The potential Period of Performance (PoP) will be 15 November 2022 - 14 November 2023 with four 12-month option year extending the services thorough 14 November.

After completion of market research, the Contracting Officer has determined that the services provided by Guardian Mobility, Inc. are proprietary in nature as the equipment in use by the USMS is designed to work only with these services.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may identify their interests and submit a capabilities statement in response to the requirement by contacting Pamela Sullivan, Contracting Specialist via email only at pamela.sullivan1@usdoj.gov no later than November 14, 10:00 AM ET, eight (8) days after the date of publication of this notice. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No phone calls regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Vendors must be registered in SAM to receive government contracts.
