Base Notice: Intent to award sole source contract - 61320624N0000

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award sole source contracts to randomly selected U.S. Hospitals to provide CPSC with data reports on injuries in order to collect statistical data on consumer product related injuries. The Government believes that only randomly selected hospitals are capable of supplying this data. Hospitals are statistically selected by a computer program and can neither request to participate nor request selection. These contracts will be issued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes.

Responses received will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
