Description

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the requirements for the maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System and all its components at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.  This project will consist of conducting non-destructive testing and repair of all power circuit breakers rated 250 amperes and above, to include testing, calibration, and repair, if necessary, for Uptown and Downtown.  Electrical Breaker shall be serviced/tested in accordance with all manufacturer recommendations. Work shall be accomplished using VHA Directive 1028, Facility Electrical Power Systems Dated 2020.  The testing will be required for the Downtown Division and the Uptown Division of the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia.  There are approximately 150 breakers to be tested at the Downtown Division and 150 breakers to be tested at the Uptown Division. Test ground resistance for the entire facility grounding system.  Test ground fault protection devices for proper function if they are installed in the Facility Electrical Power System.  Project shall consist of energized and de-energized testing.
