Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source Delivery Order to Bentley for carpet for the DEA training academy to match the existing carpet.  THE MANUFACTURER IS THE ONLY COMPANY THAT MAKES THE CARPET STYLE, COLOR AND PATTERN WHICH IS THE SAME AS WHAT IS ALREADY INSTALLED IN THE DEA TRAINING ACADEMY BUILDING. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures.”  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 442210. 

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government’s requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.  The Government anticipates the award of fir-fixed price purchase order.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.  A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.  Closing date for submitting a capability statement is January 13, 2023 at 10:00 am Eastern Time.  All submissions should be submitted electronically to Alycia.Spears@usdoj.gov.
