Intent to Sole Source

This anticipated sole source award to Kayrros will support NGA’s Analysis directorate for a subscription to track global methane emissions. The NGA is interested in issues of climate security and greenhouse gas emissions as they affect national security. NGA is seeking a specialized company that provide data and analytics to help meet its unique mission requirements. Kayrros will provide NGA personnel (i.e. subscribers) with global data on measurements of methane super-emitters, regional analyses of methane emissions, and site-level attributions. Information will be delivered via an online interface and downloadable data. The detection and quantification of greenhouse gas emissions will provide strategic geopolitical data in support of NGA’s Mission Today and Mission Tomorrow. At the current time, Kayrros is the only vendor known to NGA with the capability to satisfy this requirement.
