Notice of Intent to Extend TRICARE Health Plan Support Services

The Defense Health Agency intends to award a sole source extension of services provided under contract GS-10F-0065N, order HT001118F0024, to Axiom Resource Management, Inc., for 6 months, to allow the agency sufficient time to complete the acquisition process for a competitive follow-on contract. Continued services provide executive level program management support and analysis to the TRICARE Health Plan Directorate (J-10), including TRICARE Health Plan (THP), Clinical Services, Pharmacy, and all subordinate chiefs, managers, and staff.  Requirements include providing services to support the following areas and functions:  management and administration of THP programs; management of the Military Health System (MHS) health plan and associated managed health care programs and activities; program and acquisition management of TRICARE purchased health care services; management and administration of programs and activities; operation of elements of Health Care Operations Directorate (J-3), THP and the front office operations; and overall accomplishment of the missions, functions, and tasks of the THP enterprise and its organizational entities.

Firms not solicited under this requirement may request a copy of the solicitation, but are advised that authorization for other than full and open competition under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) is under Agency review. A copy of the limited source justification will be posted no later than 14 days after modification release.
