Description
AMENDMENT 1 EXTENDS THE RESPONSE DATE FROM 01/15/2024 TO 01/17/2024 NO LATER THAN 11:00 AM MST.
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in
accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotes are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued.
i. The solicitation number and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes
RFQ).
ii. A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-06 dated 12/04/2023.
iii. A notice regarding any set-aside and the associated NAICS code 236118 Construction
management, residential remodeling, size standard $39.5 Million.
iv. A list of line-item number may be found in Section B.1 Schedule of Items.
v. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired may be found in Section B.1 Schedule of
Items.
vi. Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point may be found in Section L
Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors or Respondents.
vii. A statement that the provision at 52.212-3, may be found in Section K Provisions.

SCOPE OF CONTRACT
This contract has two main portions, the Deputy Regional Forester (DFR) Office, and the
Conference Room:
1- Deputy Regional Forester Office (DFR) Remodel
The construction relating to the DRF office portion will occur primarily in the existing
secretary’s office area. The intent is to partition an area by adding walls to create an additional
private office as shown in the Plan Set. Form, frame, and colors of the existing facility will be
matched to not appear as an addition. All work involved with making the resulting two areas
fully functional will be included, electrical, HVAC, lighting, etc.
2- Conference Room Furnish and Remodel
All existing furniture will be removed and stored in a location to be designated at the 14th and
Catlin Forest Service property. A wall will be constructed to isolate individual offices from the
planned conference space. The room will then be remodeled into a dual-purpose room. Its main
function will be that of an open conference room with removable furniture. The electrical and
communication lines will be tracked in the floor and the junction boxes will be removable to
facilitate furniture movement to provide for the secondary purpose of a hoteling and training
area. Data and power will be installed in the new wall.
