Description

GAO Headquarters Food Service

The Contractor shall establish and operate, at no-cost to the Government, the food service facilities described for the purpose of dispensing food, non-alcoholic beverages and such other items as may be authorized by the Contracting Officer (CO) in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract.

On an as-needed basis, the Contractor shall also perform Event Support Services (catering) throughout the GAO building, specifically in the Comptroller General suite of offices which includes executive offices, a reception area, a staging area, and several conference/dining rooms. The Contractor will interact with dignitaries of the highest levels including foreign and U.S. Government officials, consultants and experts, and other guests. The contractor must exercise sound judgment, considerable tact, and discretion when assigned these tasks. At GAO's expense, the GAO's Office of Security will conduct an appropriate background check on contractor personnel prior to starting work at GAO.

Period of Performance: The period of performance will be a 5-Year Base Period and 2 (two) 5-Yerar option periods. The Year plus four (4) option years. The approximate period of performace dates are Base Period 03/03/2025-03/02/2030, Option Period 1 03/03/2030-03/02/2035, and Option Period 2 03/03/2035-03/02/2040. 

The applicable NAICS code is 722310, Food Service Contractors, with a size standard of $41.5 million dollars.

Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The potential soliciation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.

This RFP does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the submission of any proposal or preparation thereof. Nor does it commit the Government to procure or contract for said services.
