IDSC SNAPON P8 Magu Sam Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCAD LKE) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm-fixed-price contract on a limited competition basis for Brand Name Only toolkits and associated parts. This is for various P-8 tool groupings in support of Prototype, Manufacturing, and Test Department (PMTD) Tool Control Program. See Attachment for complete part list. This limited competition will be between IDSC Holdings SNAPON, CAGE 55719, and their authorized distributors using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures.

Note that this is strictly a limited competition between IDSC Holdings SNAPON and their authorized distributors.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conducta competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
