Description
The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for Cane River Creole National Historical Park (CARI).
CARI seeks professional services to remove thirteen (13) non-historic, non-compliant fire hydrants and cap off supply lines at the Oakland and Magnolia Plantation units of CARI. Contractor shall provide all material, equipment, parts and labor required to perform all of the work of this contract. All equipment, material and waste removed or generated by work of this contract shall be properly disposed of offsite by the contractor. Contractor shall verify the quantity of materials needed to complete the task identified in this statement of work (SOW). The work area shall be cordoned off (if necessary) and secure. Contractor shall leave the worksite clean and free of construction debris. No work will be performed on weekends or federal holidays without prior approval. Contractor and employee parking and equipment storage areas will be designated by the Park. No company signs shall be installed on government property. Smoking and eating shall be performed in areas designated by the Park. Employees shall wear appropriate clothing at all times. Contractors shall notify NPS staff of scheduled site visits to ensure access to secure areas.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $9,000 - $16,000. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for Natchitoches Parish, LA will apply.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237110. It is the contractor¿s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by mid-February 2022. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors. Bidders must be able to provide references of applicable experience in order to receive the award.
