QUESTIONS / ANSWERS:

1) Question - I'm reading through the project documents, and I would like to know when the mileage that is to be serviced as part of this project was last serviced with these requirements?

Answer - The majority of the area that will be done this year has been marked within the last 5 years and it still in good condition.  There is one 10-12 mile section that has not been marked in many years because we have been waiting on a survey of the area.  This survey was completed last year and all monumentation has been replaced that was previously missing.

2) Question - I was reaching out to see if there is a good date and time for you so that I can come up and put eyes on the job site or to get maps to look at it. Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you.

Answer - Contact Adam Warren at 270-257-2061 if you would like to visit the site.

3) Question - On page 10 of 56, item #4 – “The location of missing posts and survey pins will be noted as well.”

Is the COE looking/asking for an actual survey using actual survey equipment to find/locate posts and pins and any missing pins and posts and locating the property boundary?

Answer - We are looking for a survey.  What we would like from the potential contractor is that they note any missing corner posts or monuments as they walk the boundary line.  We will be providing maps that shows locations of the line and the monumentation that was in place as of the last inspection, we would just like for them to tell us if anything has changed.

4) Question - Are we allowed to use machines ie; utv/atv in conducting work on this project?

Answer - The terrain is not conducive to using motor vehicles and will have to be conducted on foot.

5) Question - Are the miles calculated as part of this project straight-line miles or do they account for the terrain/ hills and valleys?

Answer - They account for the terrain as far as I am aware.  The milage will be calculated using the distances taken from surveys and deeds of the areas.
