Description

The 700th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. which supports the 435 SFS Ground Combat Readiness Training Center in the procurement of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation-based broadband internet service and equipment.

435 SFS will procure the following products and the LEO constellation-based broadband internet service:

Four (4) Starlink Standard Kit (Starlink, Power Supply Cable, Wi-Fi Router, Lawn Mount)

The proposed procurement is for the product and service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 517410.

All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the abovementioned services/products may submit a response to the notice not later than 24 March 2021 to venice.pamparo.1@us.af.mil. The information provided shall include detailed and relevant documentation to allow government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
