The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for qualified shop support trades to support the repair, maintenance, and alteration requirements of the U.S. Navy waterborne vessels, surface ships, and submarines visiting and home ported in Bremerton, Everett, and NSB Bangor (Silverdale), Washington.

Expertise and experience required for the performance of this contract for touch labor support involving naval vessels possessing the characteristics found in the Statement of Work included in the solicitation.

Typical ship and vessel projects may include: welding; fire watch; marine pipefitting; shipfitting; lead work; blasting; painting; sheet metal forming; shaping; cutting and stamping; electrical/electronic repairs and modernization; electrical/electronic alteration; pump/motor and ship’s mechanical systems repair; tank cleaning; general maintenance; rigging; plastic fabricating, woodworking and temporary scaffolding removal/installation. Inherent in performing this contract, the Contractor(s) shall provide and are responsible for all labor, management, supervision, coordination, quality control, quality assurance, quality management, safety management, environmental management, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the requirements of each ship/vessel delivery order issued. The Contractor shall ensure adequate resources are dedicated to comply with the standards, guidelines and procedures as stated to satisfy the requirements of delivery orders.

The anticipated ordering period is five years from the date of award. Award is anticipated to be in September of 2022.
