Description
THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES A FIRM FIXED PRICED SERVICE ACQUISITION, PLUS INCIDENTAL EQUIPMENT TO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT:
- THE INSTALLATION OF CABLING IN THREE SEPARATE COMMUNICATIONS CLOSETS LOCATED AT GOLDWATER AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE LOCATED IN PHOENIX ARIZONA - INCLUDING REMOVAL OF OLD RACKS AND INSTALLATION OF NEW RACKS, ATTACHMENT TO POWER, ASSOCIATED CABLING (FIBER AND ETHERNET) IAW STANDARDS.
NB: THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT CURRENTLY FUNDED. ANY EFFORT ON THE PART OF THE VENDOR TO COMPETE AND BE RECOMMENDED FOR AWARD IS ENTIRELY AT THE RISK OF THE VENDOR. NO AWARD DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT FUNDING. FUNDING MAY OR MAY NOT BECOME AVAILABLE BEFORE THE END OF THE GOVERNMENT FISCAL YEAR - 30 SEP 2022. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE A NO-AWARD DECISION FOR CONVENIENCE.
THIS REQUIREMENT IS A SERVICE KIND ACQUISITION AND AS SUCH IS SUBJECT TO THE SERVICE CONTRACT ACT - SOME OF THE SERVICE REQUIRED IS CABLE SPLICING - SEE ATTACHED WDOL RATES FOR DETAILS.

QUOTES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY:
- A COMPLETED (COMPLETE TABLES, AND ANSWER QUESTIONS) RFQ DOCUMENT (SEE ATTACHED)
- ANY OTHER REQUESTED INFORMATION AS LISTED IN SECTION 12 OF THE RFQ DOCUMENT
- VENDOR SITE VISIT ATTENDENCE IS A PRE-REQUISITE TO BE ABLE TO COMPETE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT - VENDORS WHO PLAN TO ATTEND SITE VISIT MUST SEND ADVANCE NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL - SEE INSTRUCTIONS.
Subject to Service Contract Act-Contractors are responsible for determining the appropriate staffing necessary to perform the contract work. Contractors are also responsible for complying with the minimum wage and benefits requirements for each classification performing work on the contract. If a classification considered necessary by the contractor for performance of the work is not listed on the applicable wage determination, the contractor must initiate a request for approval of an additional classification along with the proposed wage and benefit rates for that classification - see attached WDOL list pulled for this area.
Site visit occurred on 10 MAY 2022 which provided clarification of the requirement - see attached Question and Answer document, and site visit Vendor list.
To allow Vendors sufficient time to prepare quotes, announcement has been extended 7 days.
