Description
This Solicitation is unrestricted & award will be based on Firm-Fixed-Price with rating factors.
The Coast Guard Academy has an academic need for contracted support with both Advisory and Assistance Services. CGA is seeking a level of support between 20-40 hours per week. The A&AS will provide services in-person, onboard the CGA campus and in accordance with a schedule agreed upon with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The A&AU’s responsibilities will commence at the time of contract award and conclude no later than one year (12 Months) after the start date. A&AS onsite responsibilities will include regular engagement with faculty to provide technical support to any ongoing academic coursework focused on AI/ML. This may include meetings with faculty to refine course content, provide expert feedback on content or initiatives, and provide technical support to build out necessary infrastructure to support ongoing AI/ML work. Examples of technical support of AI/ML academic efforts include:
- The identification of IT equipment that will meet desired requirements;
- assistance in setting up IT equipment to support a specific AI/ML use-case;
- identifying relevant software and associated technical training to support ongoing AI/ML efforts.
- Conduct research on necessary technical topics to support ongoing AI/ML work.
In rendering the foregoing services, outputs may take the form of information, advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, recommendations, training and/or services to complement the USCGA technical expertise in accomplishing its mission.
The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government on the basis of "Best Value Evaluation" with the following technical evaluation factors which will be weighted equal to and or greater than price.
