Notice of Intent to award Sole Source acquisition of High Power Portable Modulator Assembly

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The ACC-APG Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source supply contract to H6 Systems Inc. Unique Entity ID: KYHGJNJX87E7.  

The objective of this contract is the acquisition and shipment of QTY One (1) High Power Portable Modulator Assembly with Magnetron, VMC-2033A Magnetron and Fixture, 50dB Dual Coupler 5.3-5.7 GHz and WR187 Test Load. The High-Power Portable Modulator Assembly will be designed for ease of changeover between magnetrons. 

This is in support of the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Branch, Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. 

Posting date of this requirement is 5 April 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5 May 2023. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.

This is not a Request for Quote. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis the required services.
