Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to provide the below item in support of the F/A-18: NSN: 0RH 7025 016879485 QE Part Number: 546001-1 Nomenclature: ENGINE FUEL DISPLAY (LPEFD) NAICS: 334511 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit for a long-term spare and repair requirements contract for the F/A-18 Engine Fuel Display. The government does not possess the data necessary to manufacture or perform the required repairs of the item. The item under this acquisition is subject to the Trade Agreements Act. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
