Notice of Intent- Intelligen generator

The United States Coast Guard DOL-94 intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to the Dewey Electronics Corporation, 27 Muller Road, Oakland, New Jersey 07436-1313. The order shall consist of IntelliGEN 2200 Multi Fuel Generator and a 1000 Flex Fuel Generator. The projected delivery date will be 180 days after receipt of award (ARO). The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. The Dewey Electronics Corporation is the original manufacturer for the Generator and its components, and it is the only source that possesses the Technical Data Package needed for production of these items.

The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. No solicitation package will be issued. This special notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 8.00 AM, PST on September 22, 2022. Responses shall be submitted to Jessica Adkisson at Jessica.p.adkisson@uscg.mil.

Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information:

1. The name of your company;

2. Company Unique Entity ID and CAGE Code;

3. Point of Contact, and secondary contact, information;

4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the specific items mentioned above; and,

5. A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities.

It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality that exists with the products mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product capable of meeting the Government's needs.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
