Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81K00-22-Q-0085 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-045 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20220318.
This solicitation is for a VenaCure Pro Laser System and accessories for William Beaumont Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. The delivery date is 20 June 2022. This equipment is used to treat venous insufficiency. This equipment is the power generator required to treat venous insufficiency. The generator attaches to disposable fiber-optic catheters. This equipment is a water- specific laser which targets water as the chromophore to absorb the laser energy which efficiently heats the vein endothelial cells with little chance of collateral damage. It is the standard of care for treating venous insufficiency for vascular applications.
