CUSTOM TCR REAGENTS FOR STUDY OF CD8 T-CELL RECEPTOR FUNCTION IN HIV-1 AND COVID-19

This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Immudex, LLC located at 10300 Eaton Place, Suite 440, Fairfax, VA 22030 for the Custom TCR Reagents.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), requires the TCR reagents allows for identification and enumeration of specific antigen presenting cells in cell samples using flow cytometry. Up until this point, the lab has used surrogates and indirect measures of the cells presenting the immune complexes but IS needs the granular level of detail this reagent provides for non-human primate studies as well as possibly human studies. The TCR candidates are manufactured based on candidate TCR sequences that we submit and undergo rigorous quality control to confirm specificity and functionality. Immudex is the sole manufacturer of the TCR candidates. Immudex has different phases including design of relevant TCR constructs, protein expression, quality control and final production with Immudex, LLC experts planning to engage with the lab at every step of the process.

The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
