Description

This requirement is for Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units for the 82 Medical Group at Sheppard AFB, TX. There are 22 cold storage units requiring UPS units, In accordance with Attachment 1 - SOW - UPS Units for New Building. 2 locations each having 2 low amperage units which could be supplied by 1 UPS, for a total of 20 UPS required. GEN-420 product from Geneforce Emergency Power Systems with approximately 12 hour run-times, brand name or equal.  
 
IAW FAR 5.203(b), the abbreviated solicitation response time is due to the urgency of the acquisition and FY22 funding requirements. The contracting officer has determined the shortened response time will still afford potential offerors a reasonable opportunity to response to the proposed contract action.

This acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Size Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this requirement is 335911. The Small Business Size Standard associated with this NAICS is 1,250 number of employees.

FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(b)(1), the
following addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language therein:

Quotes in response to this solicitation must be submitted via email to the POCs and Contracting Officer listed above no later than the established deadline of 9/30/2022 at 3:00PM CST.

All price quotations must be submitted via COMBO table. Separate quotes on company letterhead can be provided for supplemental information, but all technical submissions must be submitted on a separate document.

Quotes must be valid for 90 days.

FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(c), the following
addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language therein: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation represents the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes, in no particular order of importance:
