Description
DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK
FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS TESTING, INSPECTIONS, AND MAINTENANCE
BACKGROUND:
The contractor must provide all resources necessary to perform Scope of Work requirements according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), VA, and Manufacturer s standards.
LOCATION OF SERVICES:
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) - New York Harbor Healthcare System:
Brooklyn VA Medical Center
New York VA Medical Center
St. Albans VA Medical Center
Staten Island Community Based Outpatient Clinic
Harlem Community Based Outpatient Clinic
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Contractor must provide management, supervision, labor, parts, material, tools, and transportation necessary to perform:
Monthly and annual maintenance inspections of all Portable Fire Extinguishers.
Annual testing/inspection/maintenance of a FM-200 System
Annual testing/inspection/maintenance of a Kidde Sentinel System
Semi-annual testing/inspections of Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems
