Description

This is not a request for proposal nor a justification,  The government is seeking information on vendors to provide feedback on capabilities and inforamtion to provide better competiion based on the perameters outlined below.

The 27th Special Operations Squadron located at Cannon Air Force Base (AFB), New Mexico (NM) is projecting a continued temporary facility lease requirement in April 2026 through January 2029.

Under the existing contract, the unit was programmed to get permanent placement at Cannon AFB, NM within five years of award (between 2020 through 2025).  However, the General Services Administration task order is due to exercise its final option year from 10 April 2025 through 9 April 2026. Due to mission changes will not be placed in a permanent facility and the unit will stand down from Cannon AFB by January 2029.

Therefore, a temporary facility will still be required past the last option year through the first quarter of FY29, when the unit will stand down. Transitioning from the existing contract to a new contract will potentially result in a minimum 2-month disruption to the end user considering the removal of the old temporary facility and moving personnel and equipment out and delivering the new temporary facility and moving the unit and equipment back into the new temporary facility.

The government is seeking information to transition from the old temprary facility to a new temproary facility with zero mission gaps to the affected unit.
