The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWC-AD) intends to award a fixed price contract for three (3) 1553 single stream, dual redundant USB card components (Part Number: ASC1553M), in support of the T-45 Program. The 1553 single stream, dual redundant USB card component will provide full function test, simulation, monitoring and analyzer capabilities for GGU Test Set (GGUTS) applications.
As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), AIM-USA (Cage Code: 644Y8) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the 1553 single stream, dual redundant USB card component (Part Number: ASC1553M) required by the T-45 Program. As the OEM, AIM-USA is the only known source that is capable of providing the required Support Equipment with the same form, fit and function that is compatible with the existing software Application Program Interface (API) which the current T-45 software utilizes.
