Description

This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest in seeking: VA certified Service-Disabled Veteran owned Business (SDVOSB); Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Small Business for small business concerns. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Friday, April 9, 2021, 12:00PM (EST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, and the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center anticipate an award for a Rehab Chiropractic Expansion exam table. This is a VHA Directive requirement for the facility to obtain, A specialty treatment table is required to allow chiropractor to perform manual manipulation.  Modifications / accessories required for ability to not only assess but also perform safe treatment interventions include: Pelvic drop - to allow proper positioning of the patient when receiving adjustments /alignments Abdominal breakaway - to allow proper positioning of the patient when receiving adjustments /alignments Drop In Breakaway to allow proper positioning of the patient when receiving adjustments /alignments Chiro Adjusting Tool (CAT) to safely perform for manipulations and adjustments in hard to access areas of the body Hawkgrips Platinum set to perform soft tissue mobilization once positioned in various positions to access body part Theragun Pro to help relieve pain and muscle soreness / stiffness while decreasing risk of injury to the provider Place of Delivery: Hampton VAMC 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667 The appropriate NAICS Code 339112 and the size standard of 1,000 employees.
